Yes its true, I am a bit late in posting this up as this release hit the shops two weeks ago, I know it is shameful but Ive been a bit busy lately and its taken me until now to get this posted, sorry for the delay, but for those who dont know this release yet it was well worth the wait, if you like your drum and bass deep and heavy, then get over to your favourite music retailer and grab a copy of this now.
Subterra "Gutter Mouth" a bass heavy dark and mysterious track, but as you can expect from a producer with the artist name "Subterra" this does exactly what it says on the tin and completely terrorizes your bass bins, this tune will literally turn you to jelly on the dance floor, a true sonic weapon.
The flip side has "Cold Shoulder" carved into the wax, another seriously sub heavy tune, one for the late night dance floor, trancy euphoric synth strings and warping basslines and a lovely use of acoustic guitar samples chopped into this very modern and technically produced tune.
Once again Nu Directions succeeds at continuing to push some of the best music in the deeper melodic side of DnB, hats off to the label, and I must say massive thanks to Andy for sending me the dubs, click the player below for a sample of this release.
