Immediately when I saw this post on our forum I was a bit gutted, we run our own small underground label ourselves and I know how much hard work goes getting the music out to a level that we would want to hear ourselves, the real rewards nowadays are not in how much money you earn but in knowing the music is listened to by thousands of people, I imagine i speak for many underground labels, we see no BIG cheques hitting the door mat, and yet why would we? I've been saying for ages you cant put a price on music, it is soul food, and thats why its sad for me to find out today that "Tilt Recordings" hangs up the towel (for now) and moves on, but also it is a great moment to be able to spread the word of all this music now available to anyone who wants to listen free of charge.
Massive thanks goes out to all the artist's and management involved who have brought us this catalogue of music, and on a last note, be sure we will make make the most of this wonderful music collection and continue to spread the vibrations of the hard work which went into "Tilt Recordings" Our thanks goes out and our hats off to all involved, we wish you all the best with your future projects.
