As I listen to these great tracks and read the press release it is all starting to make sense, I was thinking, wow, these are wicked tunes that really have the atmosphere that Itstooloud members love the most, the warm Good Looking Records sounds, and actually there is a good reason for that. Shadowboxers are actually former members of "Pariah" producers who saw releases on Good Looking Records, Looking Good, 720 Degrees, Cov Ops and now Offworld Recordings.
The Awakenings EP is without a doubt a real treat to your ears, such a pleasure to hear the old vibe of atmospheric drum and bass coming back and bursting out of my speakers, 4 melodic tracks all with a slightly different edge, sharp beats and deep energy to relaxing rhythm's and soothing synth's, each track complimenting the next perfectly, I am now a Shadowboxers fan and will be watching them closely for the next releases, but for now prepare yourself for this release to hit the shops soon, Offworld Recordings will release these tracks first from their own website on the 1st of August but the official world wide release is on the 8th of August so if you want to get these tracks early you know where to go.
