Sicko otherwise known as Steven Denhaerynck has been making tunes for only a few years now, but lately he has started to get his name out far and wide, collaborating with Kubiks on many of his latest tunes, and signing tracks to Rubiks Records, Influenza, Point9Audio and more its easy to see how he's been making his mark on the scene.
Steven is from the country of Belgium, and was introduced to drum and bass in the year 2000 where he took it upon himself to get into the scene and dig deep into the sound of the melodic/liquid side of drum & bass, inspired by labels such as SoulR, Liquid V, Hospital to name just a few which later played a part in influencing Sicko's music productions.
His style is fairly varied which is exactly how he likes it, from Liquid to Dark side he's on an ever lasting mission to please the crowd and more than happy to switch the mood to keep the dance floor moving, his latest release "honeybee" co produced with Kubiks has been released on Rubiks Records and dare i say it has a "ravey feel" hands in the air style vocals, heavy beats and full of energy.
Honeybee is part of a various artist 5 track EP, standing strong along side tracks by Komatic, Heavy1, The Heights & Lukeino & Calculon & Sinisitarr, Kubiks and Koto, this is once again another wicked release from Rubiks Records.
