hey guys,
Ive been thinking for a while about starting a digital drum & bass label, as I get contacted so much with D'n'B yet Vibration Records is really a chill out label, so to get some of this music out, its all made sense.
So my idea was a community label, "Itstooloud Recordings" where the forum members help pick the releases :adore:
I have distribution with most major MP3 retailers, so I can get these releases all over the net, I was thinking about giving the tracks away for free from our website, but putting a price tag on them when they go on any other website, maybe thats a stupid idea, but Itstooloud Recordings makes sense.
I am still working on this new ITL site, its been a nightmare building a team and keeping them without offering a wage, some people just dont get the music industry  but none the less, I am working to build this little place we have here, it is a place that promotes the sound we love, and I thought the members of ITL would like to be involved in the label.
Is this a stupid idea? the money would be split between the Artist's and the rest will go towards paying for this server, as this site costs me £70 a month to keep running, no joke.
So what do you think guys????? fancy a record label?
T
