I played at last weeks event with Pendulum and it was a record sell-out; get there early...!

£7 in advance - £9 on the door - £6 for Reading festival wristabnd holders......

Yes mate, XS records is still going well (the shop & the label), its moved again a few shops down... Red is doing a Digital Soundboy night at fez soon too.

Pressure has not been booked for many Reading events recently, I think we've managed to explain that 186bpm jump up isn't what people really want when they walk in at 10pm!

Not sure how good this night will be... Reading festival obviously kicking off on Thurs/Fri, so could go either way.. Looking forward to playing alongside Fabio again though, he's a nice guy and always has beer with yer...

ah it wasn't that bad - i'm probably over reacting, but i've got 3 record boxes, and i picked up one that had a load of old dancefloor stuff in it, some classic tracks but not what i wanted anyway. And there was probably 300 there, it just didn't come close to the Pendulum night we did with them a couple of months ago..

They also banned mc's - no hosts - nothing, which had a dramatic effect on the atmosphere.

What did you think acg?

it was ok but i spent a fair bit of time upstairs as i wasnt that keen on most of the tunes going on downstairs

i did wonder where the mcs had got to

also.... think yourself lucky as you are excepted from my next vcomment as i didnt hear you mix BUT....
all the time i was there i didnt hear a decent mix. poor quick fades from one to another. think i may have caught a bit of you at the end biddle if you were on about 45mins before the end (roughly when i fucked off)... whoever was on the decks then was playing better stuff

Tobes, Reading has a splendid train station and I'm sure someone could put you up...also last minute hotel bookings pay dividinds, my mate got a room at the Millenium up by the Madjeski for £44.95, usually £115!

Yeah ACG I was more coherent than usual, going out later and relying on something other than booze helps.

Just about to get train back from Plymouth to RDG now, going to a mates birthday party at Dogma tonight, I think Toilet Boy is playing breaks and some guy called Banger is playing DnB, so they party is still going on, been a good weekend, hope everyone else had one too.
