For those who aint done it yet !!

The BBC have recently decided to axe Flight's and L Double's shows on 1xtra, to replace these forward thinking shows, we will get Tim Westwood and Trevor Nelson :(:mad:

Sign the petition to help save these great shows --> http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/1Xtra?e (http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/1Xtra?e)

Read the comments left on the petition --> http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/1Xtra/signatures.html (http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/1Xtra/signatures.html)

signed up yesterday... i hope 1xtra notice but i doubt it will change anything as they probably based their decision on audience figures. God - like we need to hear more of Timmy Westwood and R'n'B Hip-pop malteser head Trevor Nelson.

unfortunately, the petition is proof of why the shows been axed, its been a week, and still not got 1000 signatures, thats not even the figures of a semi decent white label.

with figures like that, it is obvious where the liquidy/intelligent D'n'B scene is right now :(

This might sound as criticism, but the change is never gonna come when we are tryin to change something that always been in the change...Drum and Bass.

Thereīs so much good quality released or unreleased stuff, so the only change is to bring it on.

It is very sad that they change their scedule since I would listen to (Flight & L-Double)their shows at any time.

Whatīs prime time vs. if itīs quality???

A big booh for not understanding internet and the daily 24 hours...lol

Much Love. K

I agree with what youre saying but i never have and never probably will lsiten to that OR fabio/grooveriders show on radio 1 so it would be a bit hypocritical of me to sign it

Perhaps this is a the BBC's way of accepting that D'n'B is not BLACK music, it's multi cultural, therefore, seeing as 1Xtra only plays black music and nothing else (as it's slogan suggests), this may be a good thing. However both are excellent at their jobs, so I'm signing.
