anyone else really not feeling this, i don't wanna come across as a miserable old bastard but this is the 2nd time he's remixed a classic in what seems a half hearted fashion, just like the mix of Free La funk...

to me it's just the same tune sped up with generic liquid drums over the top & the funk has been completely taken away from it.

am i alone in this assertion or are you guys feeling it?

I hear yall, but I'd play it out if I had copy. In my case people who go out to dnb parrtys here would have a better reaction to this than the original which I still play out every now and then but kids these days want it harder, darker and faster

yeah i've been checking some of his more recent stuff & they're sounding good, & tbh it's not really about furney it's just i get a little annoyed when i hear people remix old classics but don't really put much into it, seems pontless.
