Certain artist and promotion

Do know if any other peeps have noticed this thru out the years.

I´ve noticed that certian artist get a 1st class treatment...is this due to the promotion or is it a demand from the stations??

Nothing wrong with that at all but, when you listen to the tunes you wonder where they became instant "top-tens".

...so they have a table of bored children to earlier employed radio A & R´s like here in Sweden then.

They come to work, turn on their pc´s and when they work they eat cookies and drink coffea. During meetings they go thru a bunch of cd´s (even if they have a wide collection of recordings that expand from the first ever recorded song to tomorrws future sounds in their archive).

Suddenly their boss ask:

"-We need some thing fresh on the hiphop tip, should we go for 50 Cent?"

(Everybody goes hurray)

"-Then we need some proper dnb, any suggestions ?"

(Dead quiet in the room)

"-Ok then we go for this "banger"...(He turns on the MP3 on hes laptop, and it spits out some noise that sound like the hardware goin bonkers.)

(The room nods their head in a spastic way)

"-Good you like it...wikkid...put that on the playlist."
