That flyer is like my project in word art when i was 12- rare colours too.
Funny to listen to it and hear MC Lennie on the mic - he still gets around the raves in birmingham now. Hes got a slightly less deep voice in this mix than now but hes still chatting the same rubbish heh heh
Sick to heart the tunes though, from piano rave happiness to dark core rumblers
Bit like his selection now i guess, bit of both

Seeing as you've got all the links tumbleweed can you hook me up with one for some classic detroit techno? I hear so much about it and apparently the intalex stuff i love is inspired by it-
Need to get educated

Yes mate- chiz for the link i'll have a gander on my luch break.
SO you were at that event eh? Bad- they still have the odd rave in the
Villa leisure centre. Were Richards & Suckling the promoters?
The retro scene is good i'm Brum, i'm lucky. Flashback (up until quite
recently at the Q club) was phat- Grooverider did a jungle set and
plays Goldie's sea of tears infront of a packed arena.... closest i'll
ever get to the amazon

try and find some mid 90's sets of derrick may, carl craig, juan atkins, robert hood, jeff mills, claude young. also find tracks onlabels like metroplex, transmat, planet e,UR, axis, purpose maker, M-Plant, kms.
theres plenty more but that should get you started. in my opinion techno has changed for the worse so i would recommend you go for stuff pre 1999. thats just my opinion though. It's all just abig kick drum and percussion loops mostly these days. Again just my opinion.
you mightfind some stuff you likehere:http://streamfast.net/index.php
happy hunting!!

Nice one mr Byson (jnr)
Yet anothert sick website ive found thanks to this forum. Last night i
got Ratty @ Dreamscape with Conrad 94. I'm sitting at my desk now
listening to charlie sheen going 'every time i think i'm going to wake
up in the jungle' :smiley4:
Yeah- ive only just cracked how to find old jungle viynl on the web and
in brum, so i'll have to start again with the techno- i think 'bug in
the bass bin' is a good place to start looking.... http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/good.gif
