Not for my benefit (i'm the fountain of all knowlegde...yeah right:smiley2:), but more fornewbies who look in this folder in passing and hope to find some tutorials on how to do 'some't' (even if it's the basics).

I've put up a few in the past and have had replies from people saying they found them tobe really useful.

If i were a newbie and reading that it would have given me a hell of a good start cos nobody ever showed me, and that's why it's took me 5 years to get to the stage i'm at.

This site just seems to get quieter and quieter everyday, so i'm just trying to breath some life back into it before it's too late.

C'mon, fellas....stop keeping it all so secret...

i apreciate that foki mate http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley32.gifive spent a sh*t load of cash and time on this site, to be honest i tend to think about other things that are going on in my life nowadays, like buying more property and other work i do, and now ive met a wicked new lady im pretty busy in my head http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley36.gifbut it would be great to see this forum pick up, its a shame as a lot of old members either went abroad travelling or lost internet at work http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley19.gifive got this idea over at www.vibrationrecords.com (http://www.vibrationrecords.com) but im still not sure whether im going to do it or not, i have other things im thinking about too, but hey its all good no matter what direction my life takes.

anyway thanks matey :smiley4:catch you all soon.

just a thought...but how about some kind of 'questions forum' where
people can put up questions so they can get a specific answer? For
example do specific things in particular software or even tips on
mixing.

whenever a question has been answered you can lock it and move it over to this one as a guide.

alot of guests will browse the forum looking for something specific, if
they have a specific forum to stick up a question they might do,
particularly if you dont have to be a member to post in it, sure they
may never register but at least there would be more content on the
sight.

bit of a sketchy idea but maybe it could work.

Sounds like a plan...

I'm more than prepared to put in the work to get some tutorials done, and maybe answer some questions...so yeah !

*but i don't want to be the only one....

Tobes, can we lift the registrationthing for one of the folders, what do you actually gain by having registered members (does it really matterifa useris registered or not ?????)

The only downfall i can see is people posting up crap and spam....

could just open up one section and see how it goes, a small number of moderators should be able to keep any junk out
