taking the voice out and leaving the beat

Where was that thread for taking out the vocals from a tune and leaving the beats... or can anyone help??:smiley2:

This can't really be done, even tho there are plug in's that claim to be able to do it.... All they do is damp down frequencies commonly used by the human voice... The bad thing is they also tend to eat away at the same frequencies used by other instruments also sat in the mix....





One other way that is said to work (altho i'm yet to be convinced) is if you can get the accapella of the same track, by inverting the waveform and layering it on the normal track thisis said to cancel out the vocals....
