View Full Version : cpu keeps maxing out !!!! :(

Hey guys , having some wee problems yet again ! lol


basicaly ive sussed the problem but not the solution , whilst im making a track using cubase , my cpu keeps maxing out , but it only maxes out when i use my hardware drum machine togeather with a vst ... if i use the drum machine on its own its fine like , cpu is grand !!! and i can use as many vst's as i like and no problems , but when i put 2 and 2 togeather , kaboom!!!!!!! if you know what i meen , hope some one can help

maybe they are both sharing the same midi chanel, when you say kabom what actually hapens.

hey guys , my pcu is a p/4 i.7


it doesent go kaboom mate , it just crashes if im using a big vst synth,





this is my set up , jomox airbase 99 /mackie desk / m audio midi sport 4x4 / m audio 2496 audiophile soundcard ,

yep they was sharing the same midi channel hahahahha wuhoo, sorted , something so simple too hehehe

youve more than likely got other channels crossing too, you shoould turn off chanels you cant use.


how many midi chanells do you have 16 or 32?

i have5 midi channels open at the moment , 4 is for the drum machine at preasant and 1 for a a vst (vanguard)

its not free , but it was for me as mi mate gave it to me , its defineatly worth having a look at tobe, defineatly the best soft synth ive heard , some nice filters on it too!
