Woke up this afternoon and went to put a record on only to discover one of my decks wouldnt power uphttp://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley19.gif,


it was working fine the night before but now its completely dead, changed the fuse in the plug and all that didnt make any difference.


do they have fuses in the actual units or anything like that wich i can easily replace myself?

i reckon it will have an internal fuse if your lucky, your beter off ringing technics tech support.

Might be a good idea that one see if they can help me fix it.


i just rang ENL Digital, a certified technics service centre on alfreton road and they want £25 deposite and then its 7-14days before i'll hear anything about it and then they charge me for all the parts and hours....


i dont really like the sound of that, so i'm going to take it apart and check its not something easy as a dodgy power lead.


while i'm at it i'll have a look to see if i can fit some better phono leads as the ones on it are old and look crap.
