Help/advice needed - pc running Windows.

I have recently bought a pc running Windows XP and an M-Audio Firewire Audiophile. I am on the net and have tried to download the software I need to run the damn thing, but I can't get it to work. I will be using it with Cubase, but as yet I can't get it to make a single noise. I have followed the instructions to the letter and I have emailed M-Audio, but it's Saturday. Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this before I tear my own face off?

hhhhhmmm now ive had nearly every sound card problem known to man so i reckon i can help you.


firstly go to my computer and right click then properties, then click hardware, then go todevice manager, can you look in there and tell me if you see your sound card, and if there are any yellow question marks next to it, also click the properties if you see it there and see if it has any conflicts.


get back to me man and tell me what you see.
