i would like to know the basic song structure of dnb songs. in rock, there are verses, choruses, and bridges. in trance, there are intros, buildups, and breakdowns. i am very new to making dnb, and it never hurts to ask...
any help would be great....thanks! :smiley4:

right usually there your intro then a break. then the main part drops and this runs for about 2 minutes then you get another break. so then your main part drops again for about 2 minutes until you get the intro at the end. obviously this isnt for every track, just most of them.

Isnt the intro 16 bars then main part is 36 then breaks down 16 bars then the rest of the track is 36 or more bars? Played at a speed of 165 or above but normally around 170. This way it alows for mixing and timing. Its primarily the basic structure that allows for the track when being mixed to be timed so that both tracks breaks at the same point.

I always thought it was 32 bars for a main part, as that would keep with the whole 2-4-8 time-scheme. Still, I may be wrong, and you more than likely are right.
