I was wondering if anyone has one of the new korg electribe's mx, or sx series. If so what are your thoughts on them , i have both and think they are a blast, they are very technical though and i thought the owners manual was not worth acrap.

SX looks pretty good, shame there's no floppy drive on it (isn;t there SMedia tho ?)
I had a look at oneof these ages ago and thought it was quite a good sampler.
How many outputs does the thing have ?
What is the MX, a h/ware sequencer...?
I used (and still do for some things) use a hardware sequencer...i bought a Yami RM1X when i first started out and the sequencer is unbelievable for the realtime control.... (blows logic away hands down for some things, which is why i still use both).
A lot of peole slate h/ware sequencers for being fiddly etc, but once you get used to using them it'll become second nature.....

Dunno mate, my Korg Triton sings like nothing i've ever heard before.
Totally different beasts IMO, i also have a Nova module, and have also used the V-Station (which if i'm honest doesn't quite compare to the hardware version, albeit based on the K-Station or whichever one it's supposed to be)
The Korg and the Novation don't sound similar in any way, so i wouldn't like to compare them as it wouldnt be a fair call.
