well it turns out the london elektricity gig is cancelled, so hopefully we'll get all those disappointed ppl coming to our night. i have managed to get a loan of a cd deck as well so i'm gonna play as many of my own tunes as i can. the only thing with this is i only got the cd deck last night so i havent had much practise with it. i've never used one before. i've never played any of my stuff out before but since i'm on first this month i'm taking the opportunity to test my tunes on a 3k system we booked. i just hope they all sound good enoughhttp://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley9.gif

well it wasnt as busy as we expected it to be but there was enough ppl to make it a good night. played lots of my own stuff which i thought sounded wicked so thats all good, mission accomplished on that front.

yeah mate i was very suprised how easy and how much like using vinyl it was. after about 2 mixes you've got it. just need to remember it's a lot more sentive turning the jog wheel than pushing forward a piece of vinyl. i was so impressed i have been looking at cd dex all day deciding whether or not tobuy one. i think i'm gonna look on ebay until i can get a cheap pioneer.
