Got a few TC1 bits on CD somewhere which are quite good, a mate of mine DJ's & does local radio with him regular.
Their Dispatch label is the shiz (expect for the new AI track which just sounds exactly the same as every other track they've made)

What is it with AI, do they not realise that people notice they use the same sounds, structure and in some cases the same samples in every tune they make.
Ok, have a signature/trademark sound.... but not to this degree surely !!!!!

couldnt agree more. i remember when i got the first a.i thing i've got ''soul good'' on commercial suicide and i thought these guys are gonna be wicked but it's that same bassline and drumloopin all their tracks.

That's it, i can remember getting that tune and thinking...Jeez these guys really could start something...both sides killed me for months.
I'm pretty sure, but if you compare that track with the one they had out recently on the V Double pack (Rumba sessions, or some't) the vox samples are the same, the b-line and some of the stabs are all the same samples.....
What makes me laugh more is their interview in the new Knowledge mag, where they said they try not to be pigeon holed into just making one sound (or something along those lines).....i'm yet to be convinced....
Haven't they got remixes of a Kelis's track coming out soon also.... My ears await, altho not in anticipation....

yeah the kelis thing is already out i think, it's noithin great. typical a.i track with kelis vocals. (suprise, suprise) it's just like good qualitybootleg (sound quality i mean)
fabio has been playing a few of thewre new tracks i have to say i like em. uprising is one of them. there another one i'm sure.

Me and a mate have said this before; thataltho all their tunes sound the same, i can't say any of them have been crap....
It seems to me like they know how to produce well, but not write music. Somebody must have shown them a set way of working and developing patterns etc and they've just stuck to it.
Working with other artists is what they need to do i reckon, and show them some new vibes......
