Im kind of new here, been following in the background for a while and you all seem pretty sound. Nice to find a forum full of like minded people and not the usual bunch of adolescent AOL messenger junkies :smiley2:


I'm 27, live near Birmingham and recently got the 'Fruity Loops' bug.


At the moment I'm only making pretty simple Speed Garage and some housey tunes but hope to get into some more technical stuff as my skills develop.


My musical history includes DJ'ing at various clubs and bars around Brum including the likes of Dome 2 and Exile etc. Ileft the clubbing and playing out scene a while ago as it kind of took over everything I was and did. My explanation is that DJ'ing is less of a job and more of a way of living...


Besides my missus HATED it :smiley2:


Anyway my brief intro is over,I look forward to chatting a bit in the futue :smiley17:

Im a great starter of tunes, but never really get anything finished.


Have a remix of 'Michelle Gayle - Do You Know' that I'm very close to completing. Its got a bit of a bouncy beat and nasty warping bassline... its the first tune I have made and thought "man, I would dance my ass off to this in a club".


Dont know how well Speed Garage goes down here, I guess its still got phat B-Lines so you guys should be able to appreciate it :smiley4:
