i tried to hold a couple of gigs up here in Nottingham, but doing it on my own nearly killed me man, and the second one had no one turn up even though i had dj's from nu-direction dj'ing, safe sound system and a wicked light rig, lost loads of money and put me off music for a bit.


i suppose thats just the music scene, some you win some you lose, its impossible doing that without a crew man, would have been alright if i was near my home town, but up here i dont really know anyone.

Shame about the parties bro, I know what you mean man...Things can happen that can really put you off music &amp; the scene in general, such as being robbed for your weed by the bouncers in a rave where you work http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley7.gif


So as you can probably guess, I did not have the best of nights on saturday. It was a really good night all in all and the numbers were good! The only thing that spoiled my night was when the bouncers (not RD security) decided they were gonna hold me up for my weed even after I told them I was staff and showed them my pass..


That really pissed me off so I went and complained about it ... When asked about it they said I was skinnin up on the bar (total bollox) I was in a dark lil corner being as descreet as possible. Everyone that knows me knows that I would never do that but alas nout more could be done..Word did get back eventually to the promoter (who I work for) &amp; I have been asked to point out the two bouncers @ the next party!


Put a downer on the night for me n the missis although I must say everybody was wicked and did thier best to cheer us up!

They just came walking straight upto me with the torch shining on my greenz, lifted me up outa my seat and proceeded to robb me for my weed and tried tellin me I'm never gonna work there again!? LOL good thing I dont work for them and thier sh*tty club...


I just cant help wondering how many times they sold that same weed they took off me to some other poor unsuspecting raver and then get thier pal to take it back again..They probably sold that 8th about 20 times over....AAARRRGGHH
