hia mate, well this has been discussed loads here, and i need some-one to remind me which thread its discussed in, cos there are a few tips.
check the tutorial section theres something about it there, and hopefully forshay can remind me which thread it was in.
could be a thread by djbug.
i get on the case for ya.:smiley1:
One trick is to get a karaoke plugin like:
http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio/vremover.htm (http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio/vremover.htm)
And remove the vocal from a copy of the tune (the success of which will vary from song to song). Then make both the original and the non-vocalversions into mono versions. Then line them up on two separate tracks of your audio sequencer (so they will both play at exactly the same time) 6then reverse the phase of the non-vocal track. That should cancel out everything but the vocal, but it will never be perfect, some careful EQing can help here as well.
Give it a go...
Cheers,
jcat
