Upload Avatars

Hey nice site! I like all the mods to the forum. The only problem is when I go to upload my avatar I'm getting the following error.

cheers mate i know why this is, what you can do for the time being is upload it into your photo gallery with the button that has a floppy disk on it, and just link to it from there, i think the problem you have found is caused when we added the photo gallery modhttp://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley5.gif

Hey Tobes, Wassup Mate!!! I'm Also having da same problems wit da photo gallery section, I've uploaded pictures and 4 some reason I can't see them at all. I've tried 2 delete them and it says dat they can't be found. I can see other members Photos and animated gifs but not mine's. Also I'm trying 2 upload my own personal avatar and I can't also. My avatar is 48x50 and it still dosen't upload when I try 2 edit my personal profile. What should I do about dis problem. Do U have any suggestions? Thank You !!!! PEACE OUT!!!

hia noize maker, tyhere is a simple fix for all this, first off please make sure the file names are short and simple, with no spaces in the name or it wont work.


i also have noticed problems uploading but today i had no problems,,,weird,,anyway try again to upload, if you still have no joy, email me tha stuff and i will sort it, dont forget if you want to upload the pics to your folder in our ftp you can do that and link to your pics in your thread.

im sorry mate, i meant in the panel when you wright a message you will see a button with a camara icon, click that to upload images.


not sure what i meant by floppy disk http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley36.gifwhen the iamge is uploaded you can right click it and then click properties to find that images address use that same adress in the avatar section in your profile setup panel http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley10.gif

hi guys im getting getting an error for all the above. i cant find the disk shaped logo, i dont know where my gallery is or how to upload to it.


i have created a avatar. i get the following error when i upload.......

when i use a current avatar from the pre listed ones iwas also getting an error, however i looged out and signed back in. this is now working.


so im still stuck in uploading my own avatar. and would love to know if i have a gallery space.

yeah Ivehad something similar there is a problem with uploading any pics to the forum atm which our web developers (Tobes) will look into when he's on solid ground I think we may need an updated forumtemplate thingy.When youre able to upload your avatar to your profile that creates a small gallery which you can view from your profile.


In the meantime try uploading your pic to some free space somewhere then paste the link into your profile if that doesnt work pm me with your pic if possible & I'll have a go at sorting it out for you

Use the top Tool Bar > My Stuff > Profile


As you'll see Ive interfered with your profilebut I could only see my own gallery of avatars but I cant "upload" anymore It should still work if you link your pic from somewhere else

yeh i have just used links to picture... thats sorted me for now, please give us a shout when the tech guys have sorted the upload issue
