dont know mate how much it is, can only find out taht it should have been released Sept/Oct this year..its the newest Sampler workstation from Korg thats got built in valve tubes....badness, check it out:

thing is, the cost is going to be an important factor so MPC's and the like are out of the equation...my opinion, this looks bad
anyone with any experience with the ES-1...whats that like?

it looks ok, i must say i have used the older electribe stuff and wasnt that impressed, if i was going to get a sampler it deffinately would be that one, ive got an emu and its pretty good, but that korg doesnt hold more than 400 samples which is pretty crap, it seems a bit of a toy, but i found that with a lot of there recent stuff, i do also prefer rack mount equiptment cos you can keep it all out the way, but i should have a play before questioning , its £550 too much forme http://www.soundslive.co.uk/common/moreinfo.asp?ID=2275 (http://www.soundslive.co.uk/common/moreinfo.asp?ID=2275)would rather buy an emu5000 for that..

Hi Rich.....yeah man, this thread is a little old! No worries though...i eventually managed to have a play on the SX version in a music store and agreed....great fun to use! Decided against it in the end tho cus if i remember correctly they were around the £500 when they were released.....a little too expensive in my opinion for what was on offer.
Think i was just going through a period of wanting more gear.....you know whats it like....a bloody itch that never seems to dissapear!
stuck with the software in the end and distracted myself with the ESX and Kontakt http://www.itstooloud.com/smileys/smiley36.gif
