I think it should work, but I know that the version I have (on the dodge) dosn't work. It may be that the dodge copies don't work properly...

Ok, I'm not in my studio to try this at the mo, I just found this info in a Trilogy review on the net:

Automation is actually another really useful feature in Trilogy and it is handled in the same way as with Spectrasonics’ other previously reviewed virtual instrument Stylus. While knob and slider information can’t be recorded through the Trilogy plug-in interface by using mouse movements, you instead can automate all of the knobs and sliders using external MIDI controllers and control change messages (this works wonderfully).

So it's just a question of find out which controls respond to which midi continuous controllers, then either draw them in to the midi controller lanes (SX2) or just do what I'll do and use an external synth's controllers to tweak and record the resultin real time.

I'll try this out later when I'mhome, but sounds promosing...

To automate Spectransonics software is simple, i use Cubase myself but my friend uses Audio Logicand has no probs either..

In the manuals thereis a Midicc chart, simply find the mdi cc number for what you want to automate, go into your midi editor, draw yourevents - job done. Most vsti automation in Cubase works in the way of Read n Write, select Write to write your info then select Read to play it back but for some Reason Spectrasonics does not work in this way, this is why u must enter the midi cc through your midi editor.

Hope this helps you some ;)
