Reason/Recycle

any Reason/Recycle users in here? ive got questionz.

what do u use recycle for exactly? choppin' samples (thats kinda what my understanding is)?

and

could someone explain how combinators help/work in Reason?

ive only really used DAWs like acid before, and i've messed around a bit w/ a demo of live.

Within Reason (no pun intended) Recycle will be useful for Dr Rex. mainly It is even more useful if you have Hardware samplers and rely on SCSI. You can do other bits with Recycle, like edit dynamics, etcetera.

thanks for ur reply. i have thought about recycle in conjunction w/ a hardware sampler but i dont have the money for a mpc (it'd be awesome if i owned one of course). currently ive just been messin' w/ thor n malstrom; learnin to make combis and such. still gettin' my head around routing especially. :P
