Hey guys,

if you fancy checking out a new browser try the Apple Safari browser just released for PC too http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

Youll notice the web pages look a bit nicer, fonts are clearer, and its very secure, still in Beta stage but I doubt it will be anything like Vista's Betas.

Yeah I don't know how I feel about putting Mac stuff on a PC....I like using Safari on my Mac, but overall, Firefox is where it is at...

I find firefox far too slow, but firebug is bloody excellent for web design.

firebug is a tool which enables you to inspect code of web pages, the inspect element enables you to look around all the css code without having to get knee deep in root files, its really handy if you want to edit something but not exactly sure where to look.

Ive been using firefox for a while with no probs but Im seriously thinking about trying Safari now none of the flash content (most noteably beatport & myspace) will work in firefox meaning I have to open IE

Does anyone have any experience of safari on a pc??

its pretty zippy. a tad bit faster than firefox in certain instances. i like how i can see more of the webpage aswell. but since theres no windows media player support (i guess), when i went to ap and streamed a song, i couldnt ff or rewind the little cursor on the crap lookin player that popped up instead of the regular windows one (the buttons were grayed out too). for me, using firefox the majority of the time is still better. :P

yeah Im gonna stick with Firefox & use IE for sites like beatport for now but FF is much faster & far more stable than IE having searched round to solve the flash prob I think involves changing the windows registery so I'll wait I see if it repairs itself :topic_whistle:
Proberbly not wise to install a 3rd browser :noclue:
